The HIVE Story
I loved incorporating pilates and with rehabilitation and dreamed of starting a similar practice on the East Coast. I have been practicing physical therapy for the past 11 years. I began in SNF and transitioned to home health in 2016. I am the primary therapist for the East region at Hartford Healthcare at home. I worked with my wife, Anna, in developing our reformer exercise program that finds the balance between a fun dynamic workout and one that generates longevity through the tactics I utilize in my physical therapy career.
We want to create a place where community comes to find a common goal. That is to live a healthier life, so we can maximize our time spent with loved ones.
Our Classes
Signature 1
Our entry-level class focuses on Pilates foundations with guided, step-by-step instruction. You’ll learn core stabilization techniques while being offered modifications or added challenges. Class begins at a steady pace, builds in intensity, and leaves you feeling stronger, more confident, and even a little taller through improved posture.
Signature 2
This high-intensity class is designed for experienced clients. Expect heavier weights, complex reformer movements, and faster transitions—modifications are not offered. A solid foundation in core stabilization is required for safety.
Signature 2 is upbeat, challenging, and fun—you’ll lift heavier, move quicker, burn more calories, and fully embrace the Hive way.
Hive Bootcamp
Get ready to sweat, move, and crush it! This high-energy class combines reformer jumpboard exercises with dynamic floor work. Our instructors lead you through fast-paced circuits and interval-style training that mix cardio, strength, plyometrics, agility, and core work—keeping your heart pumping and muscles fired up.
Hive Bootcamp isn’t just a workout—it’s a vibe. You’ll leave buzzing with endorphins, feeling strong, unstoppable, and ready to take on anything.
Hive Boxing
Our West Coast–inspired, city-style boxing class blends strength training on and off the reformer with energizing bag work. Expect fun, dynamic combinations that challenge you physically and mentally—keeping you strong, sharp, and fully engaged.
